Leadership

Lisa J. Blau serves as our Chairperson and a Director . Ms. Blau also has been a Founding Partner of Able Partners since inception in 2016. She has been an active investor for over a decade with a focus on health and wellness. In 2006, Ms. Blau co-founded VitalJuice.com, a daily email newsletter on healthy living tips and trends that was acquired by Tasting Table. In 2004, she also helped build and launch Portero, an online luxury goods auction platform sold to Richemont.

Ms. Blau chairs the Investor Group of the Leadership Now Project, a membership organization of business professionals committed to renewing democracy. She is a founding member and leader of the TIME’S UP Care Economy Business Council, a coalition of business leaders and companies committed to building a new American care economy, empowering caregivers, and championing gender equality throughout their workforce. Ms. Blau is also the founder of Be Counted NYC, an effort focused on driving registration and voter participation in New York City’s June 2021 Democratic Primary. She is a board member of The New York Public Library, KIPP New York and Mt. Sinai’s Parenting Center. She has a B.A. from Duke University, where she sits on the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Taskforce, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

We believe Ms. Blau is well-qualified to serve as a member of our board of directors due to her significant investment experience and vast network of relationships.

Amanda Eilian serves as our Chief Executive Officer and a Director . Ms. Eilian also has been a Founding Partner of Able Partners since inception in 2016. She has been an active investor for over two decades, drawing on her experience as an institutional investor and entrepreneur. Previously, in 2007, Ms. Eilian co-founded Videolicious, an enterprise software video creation platform backed by Amazon, and served as its President until it was acquired by a multinational strategic buyer. Under Ms. Eilian’s leadership, Videolicious grew to over 5 million users in 103 countries, including Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, Walmart, SAP, Verizon and GE. Prior to forming Videolicious, Ms. Eilian was a founding partner of Capitol Acquisition Corporation, a special purpose acquisition vehicle (SPAC) that completed a $265 million initial public offering and became Two Harbors Investment Corp. (NYSE: TWO) in 2009. TWO grew to over $5 billion of market capitalization (including a spin-off). Ms. Eilian began her career in private equity and mergers and acquisitions.

Ms. Eilian is a Truman Scholar and received her M.B.A from Harvard Business School where she was a Baker Scholar, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service with Honors in Economics. Ms. Eilian serves on the Board of Directors of Juice Beauty and the Melanoma Research Alliance, and she is also a member of the Tech:NYC Leadership Council.

We believe Ms. Eilian is well-qualified to serve as a member of our board of directors due to her extensive background in finance, significant investment experience and her vast network of relationships.

Alison Ryu serves as our Chief Financial Officer . She has been a Partner at Able Partners since 2019. She has been an active investor and advisor in consumer for the last decade. Previously, Ms. Ryu was a General Partner & Managing Director at CircleUp Growth Partners from 2017 to 2019 where she led investments in early-stage consumer brands. From 2013 to 2017, Ms. Ryu was an investor at TSG Consumer where she invested in consumer and retail brands and worked closely with the e-commerce investments in their portfolio. During her time at TSG from 2015 to 2016, she spent a year as an operator on the executive team of their portfolio company, Backcountry.com. Prior to TSG, from 2011 to 2013, Ms. Ryu worked in investment banking at J.P. Morgan in the Consumer & Retail Group. Ms. Ryu has previously served on the Board of Directors of Kosas Cosmetics, Nutpods and Mented Cosmetics, and is currently a Board Observer of Vessel Health. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University.

Michelle Millstone-Shroff will serve as one of our directors following the completion of this offering. Ms. Millstone-Shroff has served as an independent advisor to various businesses, including serving as a Senior Advisor to McKinsey & Company, a management consulting firm, since April 2019. From April 2015 to July 2018, Ms. Millstone-Shroff served as the Chief Customer Experience Officer of Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. (Nasdaq: BBBY) (“Bed Bath”), a chain of domestic merchandise retail stores, and as the President & Chief Operating Officer of buybuy BABY (“BABY”), a $1+ billion subsidiary of Bed Bath and the nation’s leading retailer of items for infants and toddlers, and also served as the Chief Operating Officer of BABY from March 2007 until July 2018. Ms. Millstone-Shroff has served on the boards of directors of Public Storage (NYSE: PSA), a self-storage REIT, since January 2021, Neiman Marcus Group Inc. (NYSE: NMG.A), a chain of luxury department stores, since September 2020, Nanit, a private technology startup that develops smart baby monitor devices, since December 2019, and Party City Holdco Inc. (NYSE: PRTY), a vertically-integrated chain of party stores, since February 2019. Ms. Millstone-Shroff holds a Masters of Business Administration with distinction from Harvard Business School, a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Management summa cum laude from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology summa cum laude from University of Pennsylvania.

We believe Ms. Millstone-Shroff is well qualified to serve as a member of our board of directors due to her significant strategic and operating experience at omni-channel consumer-facing businesses, including experience scaling a business from less than $100 million in revenue to over $1 billion, her public company board experience and vast network of relationships.

Anuradha B. Subramanian will serve as one of our directors following the completion of this offering. Ms. Subramanian is the Chief Financial Officer of Bumble Inc., a leading online dating and connections platform. Prior to joining Bumble in September 2020, Ms. Subramanian served as Chief Financial Officer, Digital at Univision Communications Inc. from February 2018 to September 2020. Prior to that, Ms. Subramanian served as Chief Financial Officer at Digital at VICE Media during 2017. Prior to that, Ms. Subramanian served in various roles at Scripps Networks Interactive from August 2010 to January 2017, including most recently as the Head of Finance, Digital. Prior to Scripps Networks, Ms. Subramanian worked in investment banking at Citibank as part of the Media and Telecom group. Ms. Subramanian began her career at Ernst & Young in the assurance division. Ms. Subramanian holds an M.B.A from the Yale School of Management and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) from Delhi University and is a Chartered Accountant in India.
